Call for Workshop Papers
Traditional computing requires centralizing data in data centers, resulting in impracticality due to limited communication resources and high transmission delays. Edge computing addresses these issues by enabling distributed learning over numerous wireless devices, reducing data traffic and ensuring privacy. This approach requires new wireless techniques integrating communication and learning to handle the substantial data traffic. Regarding this issue, semantic communication focuses on transmitting the meaning of data, promising more efficient and robust wireless networks. AI advancements are pivotal in overcoming challenges in semantic communications, necessitating redesigned network architectures and transmission technologies. We invite innovative contributions that explore these cutting-edge topics.
