Guideline for Poster Session Chair
Before Your Session
1. Check the Program
• Prior to departure for the conference, please check the program on the online ICOIN 2026 proceedings (https://icoin.org/program_proceeding) to confirm the time slot and poster papers assigned to your poster session.
2. Check the Poster Area
• Please arrive at the poster session area at least 10 minutes before the session starts.
• Familiarize yourself with the poster layout, poster numbers, and lighting controls.
• Confirm that each presenter has posted their poster in the correct position.
• Check the presence of individual presenters assigned to your session.
• If you encounter any problems, immediately inform the poster session staff assigned to the room.

During Your Session
1. Opening the Poster Session
• At the start of the session, briefly introduce yourself and announce the official start of the poster session.
2. Session Supervision
• Ensure that presenters remain at their posters during the session, as authors are required to stand by their posters and explain their work to participants.
3. Absent Presenter
• If a presenter fails to appear or does not display their poster:
• Proceed with the session without the absent poster.
• Record the absence and report it to the conference secretariat at the registration desk after the session.
4. Online Poster Presentations
• Online poster presentations are permitted only with prior approval.
• In such cases, a pre-recorded presentation video (15–20 minutes) will be played during the session under your moderation.
• Live online presentations are not supported.

After Your Session

• The Organizing Committee is not responsible for posters left behind after the designated removal time.
